Someone you can't imagine life without

I can't imagine life without many people. I want to not elevate anyone in my life above anyone else either. Everyone is so important too me.  I want to stick with the topic too and pick someone in my life. So I choose......

Day 13

Favorite Band or artist




I really enjoy this band. They have a fiddler, an Irish lead singer and they sound wonderful a capela. I first heard the group on Celtic Radio on the Internet and saw them live at Alpenfest (of all places, my home town's summer festival!) Love this new CD, give them a listen. I use I heart Radio, Slacker or Pandora to stream all my music these days.

Day 12

Day 12 Picture of Something you love

I am continuing a photo a day meme that I found on Facebook. Something I love is my phone. I don't know any other item that I find I NEED to have with me all the time. I left it at home when grocery shopping the other day and I felt strange. Nervous, what if the kids called or text me? I may need an intervention for this phone thing. How did I get through the day before smart phones? I love mine! I keep my appointments on the calendar, play games, talk to the universe, look up important things and not so important things on the net, tweet, blog, shop, search for patterns, take pics and edit them all on my PHONE!

I guess I am showing my age. It amazes me that I have a computer in my hand. I remeber the Commadore 64 computer at school and thought, "If it is this hard to make the computer do one easy and stupid thing, why bother." Hmmm, now look at me, I am hooked on the magical little box called a smart phone.

Day 11

A picture of something you hate

I thought about making this a deep and thought provoking post. It is easy to name things I hate that are ideas. Things like injustice, lying, manipulation, abuse of power, bullying, laziness.... but you can't really photograph those ideas. And most people dislike or hate those ideas.

I also have things I don't like such as kale, fish flipping out of water, driving on ice and mice.

However,

I truly hate knives. No reason, I am just a klutz and I am not good with them. I pass out when I have an "incident."

Day 10 A picture of the person you do the most screwed up thing with

My husband and I go to RenFest, Celtic Festivals and Highland games, Irish Music Festivals and sporting events. We like to eat out a new resturants and travel to new places. I guess some people would call being happily married screwed up, but I don't. :)

Day 9

A Picture of the Person who has gotten you though the most

My husband has been there in sickness and in health. Skinny and not, tight budgets and times of plenty, vacations, home renovations, me finishing up college, raising kids, car repairs and supporting me through the issues of my work. He has been listening to me in times of being passionate about an issue (or a rant) and totally out of my head when I have been physically ill. Plus he tolerates my quilting hobby, times when I played violin in community groups and my bad cooking. I would have to say he has gotten me through the most, practiaclly everything.
