I have used 2 yards of fabric this week making tote bags. Today I am going to use up several yards making borders and backing for my block exchange quilt. I am still sitting on one very full tote plus .25 overflow.
To remedy this problem, I signed up for a craft show in the fall. I am making tote bags, little quilts and a couple of larger ones like the unbound quilt pictured. I have been practicing on the long arm so there are several quilted items that were made that need homes. I also set up an etsy shop as posted on the side bar. I felt it was a productive week!
It has been a long time since I did a give away so watch this site over the next several days for your chance to win a little something made by me!!! Hmmm, I wonder what it could be...

Your quilting looks great! Is that a panto you used - what's the name of it?

I made this pattern up myself and I will say I really like it, I call it meandering carnations. Thanks!!
Way to go getting some more yardage used up. Bag is cute and you quilt is nice. Love the new wedding band for your DH. Hopefully he won't loose this on. LOL, I know all about it. Would you believe my husband lost 2 wedding bands so now, this third one has the charm. He has had this one now 25+ years. Jane
Your machine quilting looks great - and you got a plan for more sewing/ quilting & stash busting: good for you!
