Looking for warmer days ahead

Brrrr, if it gets much colder for much longer, I think I am going to have to hibernate because I am starting to move slow. This time of year I feel like the tin man on the Wizard of Oz, I just wish I had a magical oil can to keep me moving.

I was given a gift of my fav quilter and pattern writer, Eleanor Burns-Victory Quilts. I just watched the show on RFD tv ( I record this weekly show and learn some little tip each time!) and loved these blocks. I am thinking about a quilt I want to make. My Mom just purchased the Underground Railroad book and I am going to borrow that next.

I have been more interested in hand work lately. The photo is the progress on the yo-yo's so far. About 1/4 full of a gallon storage bag. I love making these. Easy to do while watching TV and when I need a low attention span project. I have been putting off basting my Posie quilt. I just don't enjoy that part and I procrastinate occasionally. Yes, Yes I do.

I love Eleanor Burns too. My first quilt was made from a log cabin book that I got of hers.
I still have the quilt!
