One star and 5 snowballs left to go on this one! From the EQ drawing to the real thing...
I hope to have it completed with borders by next week.
I ran out of the red for the stars and had only one block to go, then when I was trimming a block I cut the star point. I was so glad when I went into the quilt shop and there were a few fat quarters left otherwise, I am not sure what I could have done. This is done with Moda's Quilt for a Cause, alliance collection.

Your quilt looks great!
Tennessee waltz is a great pattern, good choice of fabric.
I really like how you sprinkled the blue around the quilt!
Wonderful. I love the colors.
Is this called Tennessee waltz because of the two blocks together? I know the star as '54-40 or Fight' I really like this setting - and your fabric choice. Thanks for sharing a new-to-me pattern.
It is called Tennesee Waltz because that is what Quilt in a day named the pattern. I used the idea and came up with this in EQ6. I know the star block by 54-40 or fight and the other as snow ball, too. They do dance together quite well, don't they?
Hey Vicki! Good job on the design. Glad you were able to find a few fat quarters at the shop. I'm sure that was a moment of panic. The fabrics are great for this design.
Beautiful job! Glad to see you blogging again... you have been busy!
Oh, I really, REALLY like the way this is turning out! It looks super. I may just have to use this as inspiration sometime. :) Job well done!!
