Leftovers

I worked very hard to finish this quilt and it has been dropped off at the local quilt shop as a sample. I had some leftover fabrics from this kit so I made this Saturday. A cute little table runner!

and remember this?

And from this kit I made last week, I made this little table runner yesterday. I need to add a border to it yet, I should have something in my stash.

I love leftovers!! Not to be confused with layer cakes, jelly rolls or candy bars I see at the local shop, because I love them too.

What a great job you've done at using up your leftovers as you go. How fun to get two projects done at the same time.

great projects-love how you use up your leftovers. A good idea so as not to stash it away.

Don't you just love paisley prints. I'm always levitating towards them. Like how you were able to put your scraps to use.

Oh, good for you, utilizing your leftovers so quickly in pretty ways! I keep cutting mine into strips and squares but so far that is as far as they have gone.

Did you ever wonder if jelly rolls and charm packs and all that stuff were originally leftovers from kits? Hmm..
