Here is a Pattern that you can have a chance to win here at Kate's blog. I was given the opportunity to test her pattern and absolutely love it!!! There are several options for layouts and I really thought it is a clever design. Note, my little runner is quilted and bound!!
Here are the quilt blocks from a kit that I am working on . I love the orange and green combo. I don't like how the pattern has them set with double scrappy sashing . I am not sure I am going to do that. I am liking the quilt kits when I need some easy soothing sewing, no intense thinking. :)

Sometimes no thinking sewing is the best. I tend to fall back on scrappy strip piecing which winds up as table runners, backing for other quilts, placemats, or bag fabric. Love your table runner.
Love the stars!
I love your orange and green stars too! It's going to be a beautiful quilt.
I had been intensely sewing all week long sewing to meet some deadlines. Last night 15 minutes before bedtime I grabbed some simple chain piecing. Hubby asked what was I doing. I said sewing. He said I thought you were sick of sewing. I said this is different. He didn't understand but I am guessing you would.
Those colors are beautiful! I so totally understand what you mean about the mindless sewing. I was there last week also!

Lovely table runner and I do like the stars. You'll have fun coming up with a different sashing and layout.
