I have all the rows put together for the Civil War Diary Quilt. Now to get a fabric for the setting triangles and then to join the rows. Those 6 inch blocks just sparkle on the bed in the layout. I am liking this a lot!
I am caught up on the BOM constellation of stars. I am finding the "easy" looking blocks are the hardest to put together. Like those small friends ship stars, ugh, hard. Not enough blocks are done for the interlocking chain sashing pattern to show yet, watch for it! Looking forward to the next four that come out in May.

Both quilts are looking really nice! Those small blocks are always deceptive. Small doesn't equal easy or quickly usually.
Gorgeous quilts your showing today. The civil war quilt is just stunning. And the stars, boy none of those stars look easy, your colors are wonderful.
Both projects look great. My favorite is the second one and you are so right... the little ones are trouble to sew together.
Great looking quilts. Well done.
Your six inch blocks are wonderful. I am working on a sampler with bright polka dots. I hope they turn out as well as yours.
Great progress on two quilts. They are both looking fabulous.
The civil war quilt is awesome! Quite the project!
Your Civil War quilt is fantastic, but the stars...hmmmm....what can I say I love stars!
Are the stars batiks? I love batiks and plan to use more of those in the future - so many ideas, so little time... it's good to have goals lol
Both quilts are looking great. I looked back at a few posts, keep sewing, find the time if you can. I always stall out at this stage of putting it together. I have many blocks or even rows that need the next step.
Your Civil War Diary quilt is looking great!
