It has taken all week to add the rows that I have on the quilt. It is so much fabric to wrangle! I always say I am never making another queen sized quilt....until the next time.

Wow Vicki...that's a real challenge! Good luck...looks like you're past the half way mark.

Are you setting the blocks in any particular order? I like on-point settings but the sashing can be tricky -- I always have to plan the piecing for that center diagonal row.

Oh but look how gorgeous that is looking :) As soon as your done, you won't even remember all the "wrangling". It looks incredible so far.

Lots and lots of little blocks. And the rows get so long when on point. But, just like childbirth, you do forget the pain and do it again. :-)

Wonderful so far. It will be well worth the trouble, a real familt heirloom.

It's looking great so far! Love the light blue you picked for the setting triangles. I don't know that I would have even thought to try that color with those blocks but it really looks nice.

What a wonderfully charming quilt! And I know exactly what you mean about fabric wrangling, definitely not my favorite part of making bed sized quilts.
